Field Manager is built and run by one person. I have run a lawn care business in the mid-Atlantic for three years, and this is the software I run it on.
Why it exists
When I started, I tried the well-known field-service tools. They were built for companies with a dispatcher, an office and a sales team. I had a truck, a route and a phone. I was paying for screens I never opened, and being asked to pay more for every person I added.
So I built what I needed for my own use: a customer list with notes, a calendar that repeats, a button to mark a job done, and invoices that build themselves at the end of the month.
I have used it every week since. I like it, and I think it is useful to other people who run a small service business the way I do. That is the whole reason it is for sale.
What that means for you
It is small on purpose. No dispatch board, no route optimisation, no inventory. If you need those, a bigger platform is the right choice, and the comparison pages say so plainly.
The price is flat. One monthly price with your whole crew included. I did not like being charged per user, so I do not do it.
A person answers. Help and support inside the app goes to me, and so does a reply to any email you get from Field Manager. There is no ticket queue.
Your data is yours. Export everything as CSV at any time. If you leave, you take it with you.
I will set it up for you. Send your customer list in any form, a spreadsheet, an export from another app, or photos of a notebook, and I will load it, free, usually the same day.
Why there is no name or photo here
I run a small local business and prefer to keep it separate from this one for now. What I can offer instead is a product you can try without paying, a live demo that needs no sign-up, and a reply from the person who built it whenever you write.
